What if today was the last day of your life?

For the official launch of FMMission.com, I wanted to invite you all to join me in holding each other accountable on our missions in life.

My personal mission in this life is to inspire people to not live lives of quiet desperation. One of the saddest tragedies of our short time here on this planet is to see a human being going through the motions of life. As they’re standing safely (they naively think) on the sidelines hoping nobody notices that they are scared to death and hoping no one calls them out as being a coward or a poser. More often than not that seems to be the case unfortunately. People go their whole lives to a job that they hate for the illusions of security. People stay in relationships that are unhealthy because they’re scared to be alone and have to answer those hard questions about themselves. People sit in their rooms and try to craft their beautiful voices, but that voice never sees the light of day for the fear of ridicule and rejection. People have plans that could help change the world, but they never see the light of day for the fear that their family and friends might laugh at them.

My question for you today is, “If you found out today was the last day of your life, would you be happy with the way you spent your time?” Answer it honestly to yourself. You don’t have to answer it to anyone else. For the question I’m giving you a pass. You can keep your answer to yourself. For those who chose to not live lives of quiet desperation it is time to take #action2014. If you choose to join myself and our other FMMissionaries then fill out the form below and tell us about your mission. We will help hold you accountable to your big dreams and schemes by email and phone if you’d like!

I’ll end with an excerpt from Dr. Wayne Dyer … Vow to avoid being like Ivan in Tolstoy’’s “The Death of Ivan Ilyich”. He died wondering, “What if my whole life has been wrong?” Don’t die with your song still inside you!
